About Adam

About Adam •

Adam Quandt is the founder of Connected Parenting, providing parenting guidance and support in St. Thomas, USVI. His work focuses on helping families reduce conflict, strengthen relationships, and create deeper emotional connection.

Adam is an educator, guide, parent, and mentor devoted to supporting young people and adults in developing self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and a deep sense of integrity. His work centers on creating safe, inclusive spaces where curiosity, compassion, and personal growth are nurtured alongside academic and life skills.

With over two decades of experience in education and youth development, Adam weaves mindfulness, breathwork, movement, and nature-based learning into his approach. He believes that meaningful learning begins with connection—to self, to others, and to the environment—and that empathy and emotional regulation are foundational skills for both personal wellbeing and healthy communities.

Grounded in a background in marine biology and place-based education, Adam encourages environmental responsibility as an extension of self-care and collective care. He brings a calm, steady presence to his work, modeling thoughtful communication, accountability, and respect, while empowering others to reflect, take ownership of their choices, and grow with intention.

Based in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Adam is also a wellness practitioner, breathwork healer, and lifelong student of conscious living. He has competed in three world championship paddleboard events, an experience that continues to deepen his respect for discipline, humility, and resilience. Whether in classrooms, community programs, or outdoor settings, his purpose remains the same: to lead with compassion, foster resilience, and help others live with greater awareness, balance, and purpose.
